JOB TITLE:
Mechanical Engineering Manager

CTF MEG Neuro Innovations Inc. is a high-technology developer and manufacturer of brain imaging systems. This position will involve working within CTF’s reputable customer service team to help integrate, install, test, maintain and service CTF’s products at customer sites worldwide. Responsibilities shall be expanded in accordance with the candidate’s aptitude and success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mechanical design engineering
-
Plan & execute investigations relating to problems and complaints.

Provide remote technical support to customers and field service personnel and help troubleshoot and resolve system problems pertaining to mechanical issues.

Assist in the integration and installation of CTF MEG systems.

Understand and comply with CTF ‘s quality management system (QMS)

Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Licensed mechanical engineer (P.Eng. BC) and/or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

10+ years previous experience in Mechanical Design

Medical Device experience and with QMS experience for medical device
-
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, innovative design skills and knowledge of manufacturing technologies.

Expertise in SolidWorks modeling and drawing preparation and experience in AutoCAD drawing preparation

Design experience with composites, plastics, hydraulics, cryogenics and using Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Cryogenics and vacuum-technology experience preferred

Electrical / electronics knowledge preferred

Collaborate closely with technical experts to produce, publish, and manage resources that document tasks, procedures, standards, training courses and technologies.

Self-driven to excel and fit into an intuitive, passionate, and highly collaborative small team-based culture, with willingness and efficiency to work alone.

Proficient at interacting with a diverse customer base in a professional manner, in potentially demanding situations

Strong oral and written communication skills and working proficiency in Microsoft Office

Cross-functional team player, strong problem-solving skills, and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
